1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect

Account data: your username, email address, and password. Passwords are never stored in plain text; only an irreversible (bcrypt) hash is kept.

Content data: your posts, replies, votes, the hashtags you follow, and any information you add to your profile (bio, avatar).

Technical data: the Site's hosting providers may keep standard short-term server logs, such as IP address and browser information, for security and performance purposes. The Site also collects aggregate visit statistics via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track individual users.

Visit statistics: the Site collects anonymous statistics such as total visits and page views using Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-focused measurement tool. It does not track individual users and does not perform cross-site tracking.

Cookies: the Site uses only essential cookies — an authentication cookie that keeps you signed in, and cookies storing your language and theme preferences. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Analytics: the Site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service that does not track individual users, to collect aggregate (anonymous) page-view statistics.

3. How We Use Data

Your data is processed to create and manage your account, publish your content, build your personalised timeline, keep the Site secure, detect rule violations, and comply with legal obligations.

Your data is not used for advertising and is not sold to third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Transfers

The Site uses Vercel for hosting and Supabase for its database. Your data is stored on these providers' servers located abroad. By registering, you consent to the transfer of your data abroad within this scope.

Where legally required (court order, official request), data may be shared with competent authorities.

5. Public Content

Your username, profile, posts, and replies are publicly visible on the Site and may be indexed by search engines. Your email address is never shown publicly.

6. Retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If your account is deleted, your personal data is erased within a reasonable period, subject to statutory retention obligations.

7. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK (and similar data protection laws), you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information about processing, learn its purpose, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and no data is knowingly collected from them. Any account found to belong to a user under 13 will be deleted.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. Significant changes will be announced on the Site. The current version is always published on this page.
